Don’t forget it’s social media and we tend to want to post ourselves at our best. We post the best photos we take … talk about the best moments with the kids … best meals we eat .. best events happening … best work we do … and show what looks like an amazing version of our lives at times. However life is full of ups and downs .. we just tend to not post so many downs online do we? We’re all mostly in the same boat and that boat is taking us into 2017 …

It’s kinda in response to an article I saw the other day on the BBC News App – Facebook lurking makes us miserable. I also know that I try to post nice food photos (ok they aren’t always nice but I try it’s the ultimate death match between eating food while it’s still hot and setting up food for a nice photo). I post photos of the kids … too many photos of the kids no doubt but I’ve tried to lock that down a bit to friends I know in person (for the most part) … we post about the good things that happen and sure we sometimes post about the negative but if you’re looking in from the outside … everything seems to be great for the most part.
It’s now 2017 I’ve got my new years resolutions ready … ready to fail at them? we’ll see .. I’m trying to set myself some that I’ll be able to adhere to
